Job Summary
Seeking an individual to join our Insulation-fabrication department. Must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment while following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will create a layout from blueprints to accurately measure and cut non-asbestos hard-packed high-temperature rated fiber insulation for covering surfaces, read measurements from the print layout. This individual must have strong hands and be able to sew pieces together and follow directions with high attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Determine the appropriate equipment or method based on requirements to cut, bend, roll, sew, clamp, etc.
Set up components according to specifications (e.g., cut material with hand tool style equipment to match measurements - plans are coming to start implementing technology to assist in this in 2022).
Cut hard-packed high temperature rated fiber insulation and other material to match the print.
Operate sewing machine, scissors, knives, etc.
Align components using rulers etc., and clamp pieces for sewing.
Maintain and operate equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1-year related experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (sewing machine, scissors, plotter, knives, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, and drawings.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing and other equipment (face-shield, gloves, coverall, etc.).
Deftness and attention to detail.
Work Environment
This is a working manufacturing and production facility. As such this is a hot, dusty, loud area, and there are always moving parts. Caution and attention to your surroundings need to always be at the forefront of your mind as safety always starts with you.
Travel
Less than 5% per year.

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities to support all departments in the company. The ideal candidate must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment while following all safety precautions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform duties as assigned per department, including cutting and handling fiberglass insulation.
Maintain grounds, including snow and yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing the lawn, collecting trash, etc.
Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning machines, repairing broken parts, damage to walls, etc.
Collaborate with all team members.
Drive company truck for errands.
Operate angle grinders to prepare/clean parts.
Maintain and operate equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Forklift - 1 Year sit-down propane.
Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
Valid Nebraska driver's license.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and the willingness to use protective clothing and/or equipment (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
Deftness and attention to detail.

A welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metals and their properties is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
Maintain and operate equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Touch, cut, and handle fiberglass insulation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
Operator to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies, support & assist our fabrication department, and other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Loads steel plate stock on the burning table.
Support and assist fabrication department.
Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Determine the appropriate equipment or method based on requirements to cut, bend, roll, etc.
Download programs for parts burning/cutting.
Utilize proper tips, torch spacing, fuel setting, and material utilization.
Use a gantry-style thermal cutting machine capable of plasma.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to standards.
Maintains specifications by observing, and cutting, including taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, shears, rolls, etc.).
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Plans by studying work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available.
Acquire and perfect enough “know-how” to service your own tools.
