Job Summary

Prior accounts payable/receivables experience is desired. A strong work ethic, the ability to think outside the box to achieve work goals, and self-motivation are keys to being successful in this position. Being able to work successfully with other departments is also key.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
  • Compile and sort invoices and checks.
  • Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
  • Support accounting/purchasing personnel.
  • Input type vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records
  • Match invoices to work orders.
  • Process bills for payment.
  • Utilize computer systems to run databases and order supplies.
  • Contact individuals with delinquent accounts.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Analyzing information.
  • Proficient in Excel.

Education and Experience

  • Associates Degree (Preferred)
  • Accounting Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Accounts Payable: 1 year (Preferred)

Advanced notification is given if needed, and would be no greater than 5% a year.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
